Warranty Terms & Conditions
All furniture sold by Relaxhouse comes with a 12 month warranty against manufacturing faults. This warranty applies to normal domestic use only and is provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Warranty Period
The warranty period is 12 months from the date of purchase and applies to the original purchaser only. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
What the Warranty Covers
The warranty covers manufacturing faults and defects that occur during normal domestic use.
Where a fault is confirmed, Relaxhouse will arrange an appropriate solution depending on the nature of the issue. Final outcomes may include repair, replacement, or replacement parts.
If the exact product or colour is no longer available, the closest suitable alternative may be offered. Any replacement applies to the failed item or component only. The original warranty period is not extended following a repair or replacement.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not cover:
- normal wear and tear
- accidental damage, misuse, abuse, or abnormal use
- scratches, dents, chipping, peeling, fading, staining, or corrosion
- damage caused by inadequate care, maintenance, or incorrect assembly
- products that have been modified or altered
- commercial or non-domestic use
- indirect or consequential loss
- damage caused by natural events such as wind, rain, or storm conditions
- items used in close proximity to the sea or exposed to salt air
Seconds, Display and Discounted Items
Seconds, samples, display items, showroom models, and discounted or used items are not covered under warranty unless otherwise stated in writing at the time of purchase.
Outdoor Furniture Use and Care
Outdoor furniture is designed for outdoor use, however it must still be cared for appropriately in Australian conditions.
To help maintain the appearance and longevity of outdoor furniture, we recommend placing items in covered areas where possible and covering or storing them when not in use. Damage caused by prolonged exposure to harsh weather conditions or direct sun is not covered under warranty.
