  • Good design is not totally dependant upon the personality, and taste of a person; it depends on the suitable application of those interior design principles. Balance is one of the essentials of life, which everyone seek consciously, either it is based on the relationships, checkbook or at home. This actually gives comfortable, stability, peace, and also reduces the stress.
  • For interiors, balance includes the psychological weight or physical weight of the object. Balance is much important in all the aspects of room designing, such as selecting furniture, selecting materials and accessorizing. Scale and proportion relates to shape and size of the object.
  • Scale includes the absolute size of the object, when it is compared to other spaces and objects. Proportion relatively describes the ratio from one part to another. Rhythm actually creates music. It makes the calm area alive. Contrast and repetition are the key elements in rhythm.

Keep Balance In Room

  1. Many elements or areas of the room require being emphasized and dominant. Different varieties keep the area dull and monotonous.  The symmetrical balance is been featured as same objects that are kept in any side of vertical axis and it is also found in traditional interiors. This kind of the interior is been said balance setting and this symmetrical balance generally reflects human form.
  2. The asymmetrical balance is of casual & less contrived in the feeling and this kind of the balance is difficult to achieve. The balance here is been achieved by the dissimilar object, which have the equal weight & attraction. Nowadays asymmetrical balance is been used to design the interiors. The radial balance is when element of design will reflect center point and best example of the radial balance is spiral staircase. This kind of the balance is not been used often however, in case used approximately it gives interesting look to design.
