Eero Saarinen
Eero Saarinen is another iconic figure in the history of modern classics furniture.Saarinen Was born in Hvittrask/Finland in 1910.At the age of thirteen he moved to United States of America.He joined the Academy of Art in Mitchigan and graduated from yale University 1934.Saarinen spend part of his educational career in paris where he completed his architectural and furniture designs studies. He worked very closely with Charles Eames and Ray Eames during the Organic Design in Home Furnishing competition in 1940 which they won the first prize and they develop a new techniques which inspired the furniture designs and laid the foundation for the modern classic furniture.Probably the most popular piece of modern classics furniture that Saarinen had created is his Tulip chairs collection which sold millions of copies around the world and used by artists,celebrities and Television shows and TV Series: Star Treck,Britain got talent. The tulip chair like all Saarinen chairs,was taken into production by the famous American furniture company Florance knoll.During Saarinen connection with the knoll,he created some of the most iconic furniture designs in the modern classics furniture of the mid century.
