Ross Lovegrove (Wales 1958-) Ross Lovegrove,one of the most important and innovative of contemporary industrial designers, studied design at Manchester Polytechnic and later trained at the Royal College of Art in London. In the early 1980s, Lovegrove accepted a position with frog design, a well known design firm. It was there that Lovegrove worked on projects like the design of the Sony Walkman and the Apple computer. He was considered an expert in both product ergonomics and Green Design. Lovegrove subsequently moved to Paris where he spent time advising for Knoll international.
